I see I’m not alone. 😏
Today I wanted to spend a little time talking about burnout, where it can come from, and how we can begin finding our way back to small pockets of joy while moving through it.
Personally, burnout has shown up for me at different times and for different reasons. Sometimes it’s been related to work. Sometimes it’s been tied to things happening in my personal life. One thing I’ve learned is that burnout doesn’t really discriminate. It tends to build slowly in the background until one day you realize your energy feels different.
Maybe you’ve felt that heaviness too. The kind of tired where even a full night of sleep doesn’t quite fix it.
Burnout can sometimes be a signal that something in our lives is asking for attention. A job that has run its course. A routine that no longer supports us. A pace that our body and mind are ready to soften.
So today’s Sunday Slowdown is a gentle conversation about that space. A moment to relax, unwind, and explore how we can move through burnout with a little more awareness and compassion for ourselves.
And maybe, along the way, reconnect with a few small sparks of joy again. ☺️
